Brief Introduction to Recreational Vehicles -2

If you have ever been tempted to own one of the many holiday cars available on the market, you are not alone. They are a great way to go on vacation, travel the world and live in comfort.

There are literally hundreds of different types that range from full luxury mobile homes to Ford Transit vans that have been converted into mobile homes.

Many people think that the history of recreational vehicles began with Gypsies, but this is actually not the case. In fact, this type of vehicle was first used by traveling artists, such as showmen and circus performers. The trend began in France around 1810. Gypsies did not start using wagons to live until 1850.

Modern recreational vehicles had their beginnings in the USA around 1910, when small family businesses, such as Airstream, began to build them. Over the next forty years, the market continued to grow with the growth of several sizes, both mobile and stationary.

Today there are many manufacturers of recreational vehicles, which are also known as car homes. Some of the larger manufacturers include Jayco, Gulfstream, Airstream and Keystone.

Many types include class A motor home, Campervan class, class C motor home, camper truck, pop-up tourist, tourist trailer, sight for tears, fifth wheel trailer, park model, toterhome, toy trailer.

Class A home is the largest of the family, as they usually include retractable outlets that make them wider than the breadth of the road. They are built on commercial truck chassis, specially designed chassis or commercial bus chassis

Class B Kempervan is probably the most common type of recreational vehicle. They are built on a standard chassis, but equipped with a sleeping area and a kitchenette. Popular models for this type of campervan include the Ford Transit, Mercedes Benz Sprinter, Fiat Ducato and Iveco.

A class C car house is usually built on the chassis of a truck with an attached section of the cabin on which the van is based. This can be told about these minibuses, as they are equipped with an additional cabin above the driver's cabin. This extra space can be used as an extra sleeping area or as an entertainment package.

Pop-up tourists make especially cute recreational vehicles. They are made of lightweight materials and pull out the bunks and tent walls, so they are very easy to store and transport. Such a device is the sight of tears, which is so bright that they can be pulled out by motorcycles.

Another similar device is a hybrid trailer, which is a mixture of home trailers and tents. Designed for rental van or pickup - fifth wheel trailers. With these units, part of the trailer installs the rear part of the truck and is equipped with a special hitch, which is called the fifth wheel clutch.

In short, it does not matter what your budget is or the reason for wanting to buy it, since there are so many recreational vehicles available on the market, there is no doubt that there will not be such to satisfy your needs.
