The government of the United States has laws on books that allow government agencies and police departments to seize vehicles that are used to transport or sell illicit drugs, or bought with money received from their sale. They are known as drug dealers' cars or cars seized by drugs. When a prosecution occurs and the judge orders the confiscation of a vehicle, it becomes the property from which its department or department has ever been involved.
