Growing need for high quality brand models to go without fur -2

Animal fur is one of the expensive raw materials used in the production of high-quality fashion goods. The material has been used since time immemorial in human clothing. Recently, inhuman practices in the fashion industry, including perceived animal cruelty and unethical raising of animals for fur production, have come to the forefront.

Fur animals in fashion and growing consciousness

According to many animal rights associations, almost a billion rabbits, 4 million foxes and 50 million minks are bred and killed for the sole purpose of making fur from these animals. The practice of breeding, growing and killing has been called the inhuman and barbarous majority of activists around the world. China is the largest exporter of fur in the world and widely criticized for allegedly unethical killing of animals, including cats and dogs.

Animal fur has remained in popular culture and fashion; especially in its use as luxury textiles. It is considered a symbol of socio-economic status because of its cost and rarity.

Nevertheless, with the advent of the century, a great impetus is being made on the production of ethical and conscious clothing without cruelty to animals on moral and ethical grounds for the sake of fashion.

After several years of protests against the rampant use of animal fur in fashion, many animal rights activists have finally found relief, as many high-quality fashion brands have gone without fur. This move was welcomed by the authorities, activists, the fashion industry and the general masses. Some of the leading names in fashion retail that went without furs include Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Gucci.

Recent trends in the fur revolution of fashion

Michael Kors, along with Jimmy Chu, is the latest fashion brand to adopt a no-fur policy. Net-a-Porter is a popular online shopping portal that has announced “no fur” policies on all e-commerce platforms.

The work under consideration in this regard has been carried out by various animal conservation groups throughout the world. These include Born Free USA, part of the Fur Free Alliance, PETA, and others.

One of the best examples of silent fashion is the popular London Fashion Week, which has welcomed the brainless fashion on its catwalks. The event boasted 86 percent of his shows, which showed completely without fur.

British activist designer Stella McCartney presented her fur alternative label “Fur Free Fur” with long-haired coats at the prestigious Paris Fashion Week.

The road ahead ...

Despite the efforts of animal welfare groups around the world, as well as fashion brands and retailers who have joined together to combat the threat, there is still a lot of work to be done in this regard. There are still many fashionable retail brands that identify themselves with the dense use of real fur in their products. Such as Fendi, Dior, Saint-Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Canada Gus and Karl Lagerfeld, should once again overestimate their position on this issue.

Fabrics for people are developing, and fashion is moving forward in creating new trends and innovations in the industry. The use of alternative fur is one of the champion's alternatives, first created by Stella McCartney. Thus, seamless designs are here to stay, and the time has come when luxury fashion brands will find ethnic fashion forever!
