Palace on wheels

The Palace on Wheels is the best luxury train. The train, which runs from September to April, sends tourists on a wonderful journey to various attractive places that they remember all their lives.

Covering the three states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, the train gives tourists the opportunity to get acquainted with the cultural, architectural, natural and traditional aspects of many regions. The unforgettable train journey begins with Delhi and sends travelers to Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Sawai Madhopur, Chitorgarh, Udaipur, Bharatpur and Agra, before returning them to the national capital.

Delhi, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Sawai Madhopur, Chittorgarh and Udaipur are some of the largest Indian cities, strongly renamed to their numerous monuments, fortresses and other sights, which show Indian architecture at its best. Jodhpur - the moorings renamed to its monuments - is also world famous for its Bird Sanctuary. And, Agra is popular for one of the seven wonders of the world - the only Taj Mahal.

The train has 14 AC lounges with each cabin with four cabins complete with all modern amenities. Deccan Odyssey

Another luxury train, the Oscar Dean, receives visitors through various tourist destinations in the Indian states of Maharashtra and Goa. A luxurious blue luxury train with 21 modern coaches, equipped with all the modern comforts, can provide an even more famous luxury Palace On Wheels train that will work for its money when it comes to unsurpassed style, luxury and comfort.

The Deccan Odyssey, which can accommodate 104 passengers, has a well-equipped library, a gym, a beauty salon, an Ayurvedic massage center and a bar among many other amenities. A well-kept bar-car attached to the train offers its guests a multitude of international and national brands of the best liqueurs.

On a seven-day stay, the train takes tourists to several forts, beaches, palaces, along the financial capital of India, Mumbai. The exciting trip starts from Mumbai and covers Ratnagiri, Sindurd, Goa, Pune, Aurangabad, Ajanta and Nasik, before heading back to Mumbai.

Heritage on wheels

The immense popularity of Palace On Wheels inspired the Indian government to introduce another luxury train to cover the desert state of Rajasthan. The new train, Heritage On Wheels - a joint venture of Indian Rail and Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation - covers the Bikaner and Shekhawati region in Rajasthan and has become a huge hit.

The train, consisting of 14 luxury buses, is equipped with all the modern amenities that are the hallmarks of such luxury trains. Heritage On Wheels-Maharaja and Maharani’s two storerooms offer delicious cuisine to passengers who enjoy them while the train makes its way to its many destinations.

Many passengers, while enjoying luxurious cuisine, settle in the lounge bar of the luxurious train, which offers many well-known Indian and international liquor brands. Heritage On Wheels begins its journey from Jaipur and sends passengers to Bikaner, Haat, Geiner, Taal Chapar, Ramgarh and Navalgarh before returning to the state capital.

Fairy Queen

This is another luxury train that makes visiting the tourist hot spots in India a pleasant experience for rich and quality tourists. Operating from October to March, Fairy Queen begins her journey on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. There is an AC coach with 50 seats inherited on this train. He begins his journey from Delhi and travels to the wildlife reserve Alvar and Sarix on a two-day night train before returning to the national capital.

The main attraction of Fairy Queen is that it is driven by the oldest locomotive in regular operation in India. Passengers see a locomotive sitting behind a large glass window in the train.

A storage room, attached to the train, offers guests an appetizing kitchen for passengers.

Fairy Queen is mainly intended for wildlife lovers, as she takes them to the Sairksa Wildlife Sanctuary and gives them the opportunity to enjoy jeep safaris in the wilds of the sanctuary and have a date with a big cat, a tiger. Golden chariot

The Karnataka Tourism Development Corporation operates the Golden Chariot, which is the last in the fleet of luxury trains in India and covers various destinations in Karnataka.

From the stone chariot of the ruins of Hampi, the Golden Chariot begins its journey from the state capital of Bangalore, going to Srirangapatnam, Mysore, Kabini Shrine and Shravanabelagol. From here he travels to Belur, which is connected with the architecture of the 11th century Hoysal, Halebidu, Humpy, Badami, Aihole, Pattadacal and Shravanabelagole, before it culminated in Goa.

The route allows you to explore the palaces, wildlife and beaches. The golden chariot promises a golden experience with solitude, comfort and a host of busy attractions during the seven-day and eight-day voyages.

The interior was inspired by the richness of the architecture of Mysore and Khoyala, and each cabin has Wi-Fi, an LCD TV, a desk and a wardrobe. On board there are also a lounge bar and two restaurants (Nal and Ruchi), a business center and health treatments.
