 Men's Automatic Watch -2

Today, there are many men's automatic watches on the market.

But what is an automatic watch and how does it work?

Men's automatic watches are also called self-winding watches. They are superficial watches that are affected by the primary spring from the impulsive action of the native action of the human hand, so there is no need to manually wind the watch.

The watch has a semicircular rotor, which includes a rod in the watch case. The usual hand and wrist movements of a person cause the rotor to turn back and forth on its staff, which is attached to the winding mechanism. The movement of the handle of a person is converted into circular mixing of the rotor, which, through a series of gears, ultimately winds the primary spring. Modern self-winding mechanisms have two ratchets and wind the spring while moving clockwise and counterclockwise.

On average, a fully wounded primary spring can store enough energy for about two days, allowing automatic watches to continue to work by hand at night. Usually, automation can also be wound by hand, turning the crown to keep the watch running, even if it was not worn, or when the man’s wrist movement is not enough to automatically wind it.

Today, an electronic quartz watch, which is controlled by hand movement, has been developed. The rotor turns a small electric generator, charging a rechargeable battery or capacitor that feeds the quartz movement. This automatic quartz arrangement gives quartz precision without the need to replace the battery or capacitor for decades.
