Resort Brando - the private island of Tahiti -2

Brando Resort is located on the small island of Tetiaroa, close to twelve small islands and about 50 km from Tahiti.

Tetiaroa was once a vital salvation for the sovereignty of Tahiti. They chose Tetiaroa rather than over 100 different atolls that include French Polynesia.

The exceptional sky and silence that gives the island, were rediscovered by Marlon Brando. Marlon, who was on the screen a character in America, turned this island and its more than three-mile inward tidal pond into its own run.

Marlon Brando never needed to envelop his island skies and his social history. In the good days he focused on the goal of sharing the wonders and perfection of his atoll with the world.

He believed that for a while Tetyaroa would become a matter for the world, about how people and the earth could live in congruence.

The magnificence and uniqueness of the lifestyle and history of Tetiaroa and French Polynesia are undeniable. Originally found by travelers from South-East Asia about four thousand years ago, and then re-discovered by European routes, control stars sent researchers through the southern Pacific Ocean to French Polynesia for centuries.

Despite the confessions that accompanied the Europeans, they did not know that Tetiaro was holy for the inhabitants of certain areas, which can be seen through the preservation of the land.

Opened just a 20-minute private plane ride with 8 passengers, worked through Air Tetiaroa from Tahiti Faa International Airport, Brando was created to breathe life into Marlon's fantasy. The resort itself is located on the 190th section of the overland island called Onetahi.

Visitors are now ready to visit the main island of the resort, and are also ready to explore any of the remote, untouched private islands, covering the tidal pond, to which everyone can come either by canoe or on foot.

Tauini, Tauroa and Hiraana, located on the north side of the tidal pool, are isolated by a small break in the coral reef, which is referred to as “hoa” This break is home to a huge amount of marine life, and all the time guests are strengthened enough to find a lemon shark nursery in the area. Once a coconut manor, with its own docking station and city, Rimatuu was the first of these islands occupied by Europeans. Reiono, home to the vast population of coconut crabs, is the main island that protected its rough rain forest.

In case you are a fan of tropical flying creatures, Tahuna Iti and Tahuna Rahi provide shelter to these amazing animals. Finally, not the least, but certainly the smallest, is the island of AEI.
