Edison Hotel at 228 West 47th St. - A great choice for those who visit Manhattan and want to stay in real luxury.
This hotel was built in 1931 and has a beautiful Art Deco design. And as good as the outside, it is even nicer inside, where anyone who stays in this hotel really stays in luxury.
The features of the Edison Hotel include Wi-Fi Internet, a fitness center, valet parking, a fine restaurant (Sofia), the Edison Ballroom, a lounge and concierge services.
But really my favorite thing about this hotel is a place in the Theater District. This makes it a fantastic place for those who want to see some of the best Broadway shows.
It is also just one block from Row Row, which features many of New York’s top restaurants. If you are a “gourmet”, you will definitely see it.
It is also a very short walk to Times Square and just a few blocks from the Rockefeller Center (where programs like Saturday Night Live and Today Today are filmed).
The 49th street N, R and Q route is less than two blocks from the hotel. I don't think you really had the experience of New York unless you ride the subway trains. And if you don’t have a ton of money to blow a taxi, they’re really the best way to get around the city. In fact, they can often be faster than taking a taxi, because traffic is often terrible.
Now, obviously, a hotel of this caliber in such an ideal location is not cheap, but also not too dangerous. You can find a room for less than $ 200 (depending on the season and how early you make the order).
