
Philae
It is designed to look like a paddy steamer, but this boat doesn’t do without luxury managed by Oberoi Hotels. 58 cabins and apartments have their own balconies and are serviced by a butler service.
Sun Boat III & IV
These are two beautiful vessels operated by Abercrombie & Kent, one of the leading travel agencies specializing in Egypt. There are only 36 passengers in boat III, and 80 passengers on boat IV. Services and services on both boats are first class and include an onboard Egyptologist.
MS Semiramis
Thomas Cook & Sons were the first people to begin a Nile cruise as a commercial concern in the 1870s. The modern incarnation of the company offers packages at competitive prices. MS Semiramis is one of the most comfortable cruise ships with 66 cabins and full equipment.
Radamis I & II
These two large boats are operated by the Mövenpick group. Slightly cheaper than small cruise ships, their facilities are almost silent in five-star, and there are options for four-day, five-day and eight-day packages.
SS Misr & SS Karim
The SS Misr steamer was built in 1918 and was used by King Farouk, while the smaller S. S. Karim is even older and was previously used in royalties. Both boats are charming, especially SS Karim, who has the atmosphere of a gentleman’s floating club. Boats are rented by the elite travel company Voyage Jules Verne.
SS Kasr Ibrim & Eugenie
An alternative to a Nile cruise is a cruise on Lake Nasser. These were the first two boats on the lake and remained the best. Both are beautiful, luxurious ships with spacious cabins and luxurious amenities such as a steam bath on the Eugenie.
Sudan
One of the most exclusive ships on the Nile, Sudan was built at the end of the 19th century and was used by King Fuad I of Egypt and Sudan and during the filming of the movie about the death of Agatha Christie on the Nile. It has only 22 cabins, each with a small balcony.
Assuan, Al-Nil, Meroe and Malouka
All four of these boats, which are operated by the Nour El Nil, are dahabiyya - replicas of old-style sailing vessels that transported 19th-century passengers to the Nile. They all carry only 16–20 passengers in weary luxury, taking six days to sail from Luxor to Aswan.
M.S. Tanya
One of the less expensive cruise ships that sail on Lake Nasser between Aswan and Abu Simbel is an elegant ship with 28 cabins that is run by a local Egyptian travel company, Travco.
Star goddess
The Sonesta hotels, resorts and cruises collection includes five Nile cruisers, including the standard moon goddess and the sun goddess. The star goddess is the most exclusive ship and has 33 suites, named after the composers, each with its own terrace and full-size bath.
