In the most basic sense, the Toy Tug is a RV sight with a large door and ramp, usually at the back. It can also be described as a cross between a cargo or open trailer and a trailer. For the most part, the front part of the toy elevator consists of living quarters - a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen, and the back part is designated as a “cargo” zone or warehouse for your toys.
Originally, the first Toy Haulers evolved as a tourist trailer with a ramp at the rear of the trailer. Over time, Toy Haulers split even more, offering many of the same amenities as other RVs, but set their sights on a more “off-road” consumer group.
Unique features:
durability “Since the load usually found in a toy vehicle is for SUVs, it should also be built to handle bumpy roads, car washes and remote camping. A large amount of ground clearance is also a big plus, so as not to bottle and scrape the ground. Cabinets must be built to be more durable to withstand shocks, and the chassis and axles need to be rated higher in order to handle potentially several thousand pounds of cargo that it can carry.
Weight is a key issue, given that the mechanism inside this particular type of RV may exceed several thousand pounds. Thus, owners must take into account not only the dry weight of the trailer itself, but also the number of toys that they can take with them to safely tow the trailer, as well as the convenience of the creatures that were added to the trailer, such as microwave, refrigerator, beds queens, etc.
Large and high sizes “Since the Toy tractor is also a cargo trailer, a large amount of open space is needed. They usually press the maximum width allowed on most public roads from 8 to 6 inches, and ceilings of 8 or higher are very common.
Autonomous - Campers who prefer to remove their toys from paved roads usually do not have the luxury of “full connections” and therefore must pack all the water needed for their own holidays. Thus, toy carts should have large freshwater tanks on board. Built-in generators are also popular to provide power for air conditioners, microwaves, and other appliances.
Folding furniture - Rear beds, couches and tables at the back of a toy tractor are either bent against the wall or disappear into the ceiling to create more storage space for toys. Large units can have bunk beds at the back of a chain-driven electrical circuit that pushes both beds toward a raised ceiling.
Toy toys moved inside their toy tractors can vary by hobby, region, or even towing. The most common look for ATVs, "side by side", such as the Yamaha Rhino and Polaris Ranger, are gaining immense popularity. Other toys may include street bikes, small boats or jet skis, racing cars and jeeps.
