Worst years of the Mustang -2

Mustang II is considered by most Mustang enthusiasts as the worst of the lines. By 1974, pollution control and gas mileage problems had destroyed the previous generation of classic hot rods. Horsepower is a thing of the past, and Mustang was brought to a low state in order to survive in this difficult time. The Mustang II combined the two styles of the body with a two-door sturdy top and pinto-like hatch. This year there were no convertibles available.

The car had two engines available: a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of only 88 horsepower and a German 171 liter 2.8 liter V-6 with 105 hp. In 1975, Ford again introduced a small block of 302 cubic inches in the Mustang II, but with only 122 horsepower. Compare this to the 2005 model, which gets up to 300 hp.

The Mustang II was smaller than the 1960 version, but weighed 3,000 pounds and received a meager 88 hp. meant a very slow ride. Fortunately, the very popular 2005 Mustang, as mentioned earlier, has much more power.

The Mustang Ghia was a luxury Ford Mustang that included luxury seat belts, digital quartz watches, vinyl seats and door trims, court door lights, rear ashtray, exterior mirrors with remote control, parking brake, pin strips and vinyl roof. Why everyone who considers a vinyl roof as luxury is unknown to this day. Caring for a vinyl top can be a pain, as anyone who owns it will testify.

The 1970s were a terrible time for the Mustangs, but in the 1980s it would be more like a return to success. Today's Mustang is not only the most popular sports car on the market, but also the original Mustang with its 300 hp. and stunning appearance.
