Mercedes-Benz G 65 AMG - one of the biggest boys in the SUV. Due to its history with the German automaker, it is more than capable of handling any type of off-road, durable terrain. Although it may have been mainly used to overcome rough terrains in the past, the G-Class models turned into a more expensive SUV thanks to the wealth buyers who buy them. Mercedes-Benz did not plan to change the way of building an SUV to create a more comfortable ride on the streets, so the German car repair team at Hamann in Germany developed a new upgrade program that turns the SUV into a tabloid cruiser with lots of power and exclusive stylistic upgrades . The new update program G 65 AMG includes a number of new engine configurations, a wide exterior body kit, new COR wheels and other chassis modifications to create a unique G-class.
The engineering team at Hamann in Germany first decided to focus on the massive 6.0-liter V-12 engine that hides the benefits of the bonnet. The twin-turbo engine packed a lot of potential that could be written down with the help of new software tuning. This tune alters various engine parameters from fuel supply to ignition, spark and sync variables to create even more power than before. A new stainless steel exhaust system with a side construction and three tailpipes made of anodized aluminum in gold color helps reduce backpressure, so that SUV turbochargers can accumulate more efficiently. The result is 702 horsepower and 811 lb-ft. torque transmitted to all four COR wheels on the front and rear axles to increase acceleration and maximum speed.
After the engine was upgraded, the team switched to the appearance of the G 65 AMG. The entire SUV was repainted and got a new multi-layered paint with a special lighting function that glows in the dark when exposed to electric current. The paint has the length of an SUV and is also worn by the front and rear logos and can be highlighted at the touch of a button. The front panel was equipped with a new LED lighting and lip spoiler, creating more downforce, creating a more aggressive look. Both the front and rear wings were increased by a total of 76 mm to give the high performance SUV a more muscular strut in combination with COR wheels. A new rear bumper with a diffuser and a roof spoiler helps build on a more aggressive look and bring more downforce for better stability.
The final step was the chassis, in which the team wanted to give the SUV a stylish and comfortable ride with better handling. The suspension has been modified with new comfortable springs that reduce ride height and achieve a more expensive ride. The factory-installed rim and tire was removed for new forged COR wheels in a three-piece design with a diameter of 22 inches. Each wheel was also equipped with new Michelin tires, which provide a good level of grip with quiet ride quality.
