Miami Gardens is an association of previously unincorporated communities that saddled the Broward County line. To protect them from wandering brigands, barbarians, and city dwellers who did not care for them, they united as the city of Miami Gardens in 2003. The liberated confederation has so far avoided attacks and is now a force to reckon with the northern region of Miami-Dade. While there are several decent restaurants, the area is a large suburban sprawl.
