This style of tire has been around for many years. They have a unique “all-weather” tread design that provides you with the best in summer and driving, regardless of weather conditions. If you live in areas that see a lot of rain, snow and ice, then this may be your best option.
The radial tread for the whole season is designed with a large number of slats to push water away from rain or slushy roads, but it is good to lay on dry pavement.
Despite the fact that these tires are not designed to handle style and turn, these tires are durable around most drivers favorite.
Which tire is better?
Honestly, each has its own unique characteristics and market. I cannot say that in certain conditions a person is really better than another. It really comes down to where you live, what type of car you have, and how you drive it.
If you live in a constantly changing climate, the model of the season is for you. If you are looking for increased comfort and high performance, then the touring model is an excellent choice.
