Cable Beach
In the far north-west of Australia is Kabel Beach, located in Broome in Western Australia. With perfect white sand, it stretches twenty-two kilometers along the edge of the Indian Ocean. Bells beach
Torquay in Victoria is home to Bells Beach, Australia's best surf. Each Easter becomes the focal point of the world during the Easter Classic, a carnival surfing championship. The Great Ocean Road starts here in Torquay, and follows an impressive coastline right through Portland, near the border with Victoria and South Australia. Torquay itself is the capital of surfing in Australia, with a museum and hall of fame dedicated to this sport. Camping is popular, as well as motels, hotels and serviced apartments.
Four minute beach
In Queensland to the north is Port Douglas and the beautiful beach is 4 miles away. Being a port for a thriving gold industry, it is now a popular tourist destination. Port Douglas is a good focal point for the Daintree rainforest, and also has the Great Barrier Reef off the coast. The city has excellent shops and world-class restaurants, as well as a selection of fantastic rooms. The beach is perfect for swimming, and some of the hotels are on the beach.
Byron bay
Byron Bay is located on the north coast of New South Wales and is the classic holiday destination of Australia. Once again, the place for those who want an alternative lifestyle has now become a popular tourist destination, while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. This is a great place for families and junior sets, and there is a lot to do. Swimming, surfing, walking in the rainforest and visiting the most eastern point in Australia should be on your to-do list. There are excellent restaurants and markets, plenty of shops and really relaxing, there is no shortage of day resorts and massage therapists.
Fraser Island
The island is located off the coast of Queensland and is the world's largest sandy island. Take a trip to the island by ferry, but once there you can only get around all-wheel drive or on foot. Fraser Island is a beautiful natural holiday with sandy dunes, freshwater streams, lakes, colored rocks and incredible white sandy beaches. Hotel accommodation varies from five-star resorts to camping in a tent.
