This makes the HID Xenon light (35 W) almost three times higher than that of a conventional halogen lamp (55 W / 60 W). The HID system does not heat up as much as halogen, and the power consumed from the generator is also reduced by almost 40%.
Bulbs, which are used for headlights, lasts from 3000 to 4000 hours. These bulbs are expensive compared to standard halogen bulbs and can be easily replaced. The advantage is that they do not need to be replaced in pairs and can be installed by any qualified vehicle. Xenon HID LEDs flicker intermittently to warn that they require replacement. When replacing incandescent bulbs, disconnect power to prevent high voltage, which is usually associated with these types of systems.
HID Xenon luminaires have colors that range from pure white, blue, violet or white light with a yellow tinge. The updated version is available in the form of white, purple and blue shades.
