When Canadian Ann Murray sang her hit song “Snowy Birds”, she didn’t sing about Canadian geese. She sings to thousands of snow-related Canadians, called “snow birds,” who make annual pilgrimages from winter Canada and the Pacific Northwest to warmer climates in places like Southern California. There, snow birds nest during the winter months, basking in the warm southern sunshine in quaint resort towns such as Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara, located between the beautiful mountains of Santa Ynez and the Pacific Ocean, is the main resort of the resort.
The snowboards that come here to what some people call the “American Riviera” have a secret: Santa Barbara has it all. Those who opened Santa Barbara’s apartments avoid the barren deserts of Arizona and even the sharp oasis of Palm Springs for this coastal beauty. What for? They know too well that Santa Barbara’s apartment can offer them in the way of amenities, comfort and entertainment. Snowboards that flock to the coastal city of Santa Barbara are not content with rolling a good book for the winter with some Saguaro Saguaro or are content with designer shopping that requires an SPF 70 and a large checkbook. They are too active and full of life for this. They want more, and this is exactly what Santa Barbara apartments can offer.
Santa Barbara vacation rentals cover a wide range of urban Santa Barbara. On the coast there are private houses and condominiums, right on the beach, in-house tourist attractions and everything in between. For snowboarders who migrate here, camping is not an option. They are not interested in roughing for the whole winter or exchanging public facilities with their neighbors. They do not own an RV because they do not want the hassle of storing a bulky RV for most of the year. They are accustomed to comfort, and they long for a long winter holiday.
David and Leslie Benscott, retired attorneys from British Columbia, used the camp with their children. But now they are empty brides, and when they leave for the winter, they are not interested in the aforementioned amenities. For the past seven years, they have rented out for rent in Santa Barbara. “In addition,” says Leslie, “we both love to cook and we are spoiled enough to admit that we want a good kitchen in the kitchen.” Our condo has an amazing chef-style kitchen with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. At least once a week, we will prepare gourmet meals in our Santa Barbara vacation rental and meet friends on the beach for a picnic. You just can't do it in January in British Columbia. ”
Rent apartments Benscott in Santa Barbara is fully furnished with all amenities. Often, vacation rental owners will supply a condo or home with such things as beach equipment, games, movies and a complete kitchen. There are no taxes or tips related to renting vacations, as it would be at a hotel, so in the long run, Santa Barbara Vacation Rentals work for them cheaper than a long-term stay at a hotel, especially if you don’t need to eat every meal. The Benscotts made it a quest to catch up on all the sights in Santa Barbara, adding a few new discoveries to the treasure chest each season. This year, their grandchildren visited, and they all took to the Museum of Railways and the Santa Barbara Zoo. It was a memory that they all held for life. Fortunately, there was enough space for all those who stayed on vacation with three spacious bedrooms and a courtyard. Grand children could go to the Benscott beach every morning. They have collections of shells to prove it.
With over a hundred wineries in and around Santa Barbara, cultural events such as the theater, arts and crafts fairs on the beach, even Santa Barbara’s own international film festival, have something for everyone. Snowboards know that if you like outdoor activities with a sense of humor, then Santa Barbara is the place for you.
The snow birds, Ken and Marie Linter, a retired surgeon and his wife, come here from Alberta, Canada every winter, painted with warm temperatures and magnificent properties that they find in Santa Barbara. Now they rented the same condo for four seasons. Ken and Marie are greedy bikers and canoes and love the opportunities that Santa Barbara provides them to stay in shape during the winter months. “The only exercise I get in Alberta is raking up the snow,” says Ken, who refused to ski a few years ago. “And frankly, I'm over it. Now Marie and I can ride bikes all over the city on bikes we rent in Santa Barbara at no extra cost. We are going home in better shape than when we arrived. ”
Now there are only two of them, and they like the one bedroom apartment they found in Santa Barbara. They not only have domestic housekeeping services, but also provide concierge services for rental housing. When it comes time to decide which fabulous restaurant to choose, the concierge is there to help. “Last week,” says Marie, “the concierge directed us to a five-star restaurant tucked into a small, small bay. It was probably the most romantic dinner I've ever had with Ken, and worth going from Alberta. ”
